Results internationals

It is a little quieter at Neerpede than usual. Many players are currently working their last internationals or have just played their last international and are on their way back.

Our Red Devils took on Azerbaijan last Saturday. Final score 0-1. Jan Vertonghen played 90 minutes and also briefly wore the captain's armband after Lukaku left the field. Zeno Debast did not play. Tonight, Tuesday September 12, our Red Devils play another match. A special match for our captain, Jan Vertonghen. He is playing his 150th match for our national team.

New arrivals Delaney and Schmeichel were called up for the Danish national team and played against San Marino and Finland respectively. Both matches were won (4-0 & 0-1). Kasper was between the posts twice. Delaney was allowed to substitute against Finland after 75 minutes of play.

Diawara travelled with Guinea to Malawi for a CAN qualifier. This match ended in a 2-2 draw. Amadou played 90 minutes.

Killian Sardella and Mario Stroeykens worked a qualifying match for Euro U21 2025 with the pledges. At the Leuven pitch, they won with the smallest difference from Kazakhstan, 1-0. Killian played all game, Mario was substituted in the 80th minute.

Finally, Kristian Arnstad also came into action. He won with Norway's U21 of San Marino by 0-7 scores. The young Norwegian played the full 90 minutes.
