Belgian-Brussels artists design captain's armband

KSAAR.BXL

Jan Vertonghen, Zeno Debast, Thomas Delaney, Yari Verschaeren… they all wore the captain's armband of Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht this season. That armband is an iconic symbol, but one that until now has never really caught the eye.

That will change as from Sunday. This season, RSCA is giving Brussels-Belgian artists the opportunity to design the captain's armband for one single match. Our captain thus will wear a different unique piece of art each time.

This sunday the work of KSAAR.BXL will be on display around the arm of - most likely - Jan Vertonghen. KSAAR is a multidisciplinary fashion brand based at the Brouckèreplein in the heart of the city. KSAAR stands for Brussels and its flair and audacity, inspired in its work by the capital and a love for the Mauves.

KSAAR's mission is to symbolize and represent the capital in its work. He does this not only with disruptive clothing and accessories, but also by organizing workshops and live sessions in which he shares techniques, knowledge and creations with the public.

The project starts this Sunday during the match against KAA Gent. Throughout the season, new designs from new designers will follow at every home match. The project was created in collaboration with Napoleon Sports, which helps to give artists a unique platform to show their work to the world.
