The RSCA Youth Academy offers an exciting internship (unpaid) for motivated people who want to gain practical experience with the daily affairs of a professional football club. As an intern academy support, you play an essential role in supporting the academy's activities and management team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of future football stars while gaining valuable knowledge about the operation of a leading football organization.

DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTION :

  • Participate in the daily coordination of the activities of the youth academy.
  • Process and analyze player performance data, training programs and other important parameters using tools such as Power BI.
  • Help organize events, workshops and meetings.
  • Help keep accurate records and databases to ensure smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with the different departments of the academy to streamline processes.
  • Help prepare reports and presentations for the management team.
  • Provide general administrative support where necessary.

 

TEACHERS :

  • Gain an in-depth insight into the daily operation of a professional football club.
  • Develop skills in the field of sports management, data analysis and operational processes.
  • Learn to use data-driven tools, such as Power BI, to improve decision-making in a sports environment.
  • Experience first-hand the activities and logistics involved in running a successful youth academy.
  • Build a professional network within one of the most prestigious football clubs in Belgium.

 

DESIGN PROFILE :

  • Being a student in higher education or at the university, business management or sports management is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in an ever-changing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to effectively identify and solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in French or Dutch and English.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI.
  • A passion for football and a strong interest in sports management.
  • Ability to work together in a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
