Internship - Assistant Coach of the Lower Academy

The RSCA youth academy is happy to offer an internship (unpaid) for enthusiastic people who want to gain practical experience in the field of football training. As an intern assistant coach of the Lower Academy, you are directly involved in the field training activities and work closely with the team of coaches to support the development of our young players. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the education and growth of future football talent while developing your own coaching skills in a professional environment.
DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTION :
- Assisting the coaching team during training, by providing support for exercises and other field activities.
- Help plan and organize daily training programs and programs tailored to the needs of young players.
- Under the guidance of the main coaches, monitor player performance and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with the coaches to prepare and prepare the training equipment.
- Participate in coaching meetings and come up with ideas to improve training techniques and player development.
- Provide a positive and motivating environment for young players so that they can learn and develop.
- Support the coaching team in tracking the presence, progress and performance of the players.
TEACHERS :
- Gain practical experience with training young football players in the context of a professional academy.
- Develop the skills as a trainer and the insight into training methods specific to the development of young people.
- Learn to work with a diverse group of young players and help them develop physically and mentally.
- Gain experience with the day-to-day business and the logistical aspects of managing a youth football program.
- Build a professional network within one of the best football clubs in Belgium and learn from experienced coaches.
DESIGN PROFILE :
- Higher education student, preferably in the field of sports training, physical education or a related field, and thus able to submit an internship agreement of the training body.
- Pronounced interest in football training and youth development.
- Ability to work with the accompanying staff and the young players.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French or Dutch.
- Proactive and energetic, able to motivate and inspire young players.
- Knowledge of football training techniques and player development.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and take on new challenges in a dynamic environment.
