The fourth edition of the Superleague Formula by Sonangol will take off in the Dutch Assen on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June 2011, the first of eight racing weekends. Just like the past years, a racing weekend will take place on the Circuit Zolder in July.

Fresh Superleague Formula champion Davide Rigon was present at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium last Sunday as part of the topmatch against Club Bruges. RSCA’s Italian pilot, who won the title in the SF for the Purple & White, was handed over the trophy by Anderlecht president Roger Vanden Stock just before kickoff. "It’s amazing to be able to attend a topmatch like that for my first time here", an extremely happy Rigon said on Sunday. "The atmosphere was incredible and the stadium was packed. It was clear how much this game meant to the fans."

RSC Anderlecht have won the Superleague Formula 2010! Davide Rigon, RSCA’s Italian pilot, fended off an ultimate attack by Craig Dolby and Tottenham in a really exciting final on the Spanish Circuito de Navarra and took the title! Just two points separate winner Davide Rigon (699 points) and first pursuer Craig Dolby (697 points). Basel and Max Wissel (667 points) finished third.

Davide Rigon nicely finished the first race in the Portuguese Portimão second, behind John Martin of Beijing Guoan. Major rivals Craig Dolby (Tottenham) and Yelmer Buurman (AC Milan), who were ranked first and second on the general league table before the start of this racing weekend, finished fifth and tenth respectively, as a result of which RSCA, thanks to Rigon, are (for the moment) ranked first! Anderlecht currently have one point on Dolby.

The Superleague Formula took place in the Italian Adria this weekend, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September 2010. A genuine home race, then, for Davide Rigon, RSCA’s Italian pilot. Rigon was the best during the qualifications on Saturday and also managed to win race 1 on Sunday. Moreover, he finished eighth in race 2 and won the Super final. Thanks to Rigon, Anderlecht are just 12 points behind on leader Tottenham (Craig Dolby) now.

Some three months after the opening race in Silverstone, the Superleague Formula teams headed for England for the second time. Brands Hatch was the place to be for the seventh SF racing weekend, on 31st July and 1st August 2010. Davide Rigon had some bad luck during the qualifications, but turned the weekend into a more than successful one by taking two stage wins on Sunday!

The Belgian heat of the Superleague Formula took place on the Zolder Circuit for the third year in a row last weekend, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July 2010. A home race, then, for both RSC Anderlecht and the Azerti team, who run the car. And the home race became a genuine success for the Purple & White when Italian pilot Davide Rigon took second place in race 1 and won the Super Final! Thanks to this achievement, Anderlecht rise to third position on the general Superleague Formula league table.

Last weekend, the Superleague Formula clubs travelled from the Spanish Jarama to the Nürburgring in Germany, which is familiar territory for most teams and pilots, as a racing weekend was already held there during the debut year 2008.

On the sunny track of Jarama, nearby Madrid, the fourth racing weekend of the Superleague Formula took place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June 2010. Anderlecht pilot Davide Rigon was able to get hold of a nice tenth and sixth place after difficult qualifications on Saturday.

Davide Rigon has started the Superleague Formula season well. The 23-year-old Italian is driving the Purple-White racing car and is currently ranked third - after three races. Like last year, the SF will come to Belgium in July. During the weekend of 17th and 18th July 2010, the SF will take place in Zolder.
