The Purple & White will receive RAEC Mons at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium as part of the fourth matchday of the Jupiler Pro League on Saturday 18th August 2012. Coach John van den Brom is not able to count on the injured Olivier Deschacht yet, but Roland Juhasz is completely fit again.
The coach hopes that Olivier Deschacht will be ready for the game against Limassol. Roland Juhasz is - like against Cercle - back. "He played 45 minutes with his national team and that went smoothly", van den Brom stated. Ronald Vargas is not part of the selection yet. The Venezuelan is training with the rest of the group, but he should be able to play some minutes in a practice game to see how far he actually stands.
Next Wednesday the important European away match against Limassol will take place, but according to the coach no one in the club is thinking about that game yet. "We’re not thinking about Wednesday. The most important thing is to focus on Saturday’s match against Mons. We have to use that game to hold on to the good feeling we have created during the past few weeks", van den Brom said. "Mons played a good season in 2011-2012 and they started well this time too. But we have to try and keep the good feeling that we have and play a good match in our own stadium, for our own fans."
John van den Brom will select players from the following list: Bedi Mbenza, Biglia, Bruno, Canesin Matos, De Sutter, Gillet, Hawsawi, Iakovenko, Jovanovic, Juhasz, Kaminski, Kanu, Kljestan, Kouyate, Marecek, Mbokani, Molins, Odoi, Praet, Proto, Reynaldo, Roef, Safari, Verboom, Wasilewski
Kickoff of RSC Anderlecht - RAEC Mons will take place at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium on Saturday 18th August 2012 at 8 p.m.
