The 21-year-old Ivorian striker Gohi Bi Zoro Cyriac will play for RSC Anderlecht for the next four seasons. Cyriac received his training at the famous academy ASEC Mimosas (who have trained other talented Ivorians like, amongst others, Aruna Dindane and Kolo Touré) and arrived in Belgium in January 2009. He signed at Standard after he was elected best player and top scorer in the Ivorian competition in 2008.
"After thinking it through, I have chosen to play at RSC Anderlecht as from the season 2012-2013", Cyriac said. "I could have opted for a more lucrative transfer abroad, but RSC Anderlecht meets my sportive demands and I am proud to be able to play for such a great, ambitious club."
"Still, I will not forget about the four sportive seasons I had at Standard. I would like to thank the fans, the personnel, the staff, the coaches I have worked with and all of my team mates. I learned a lot there in every way", he stated.
