The Purple & White U-21 visited Sporting Lokeren on Friday 23rd March 2012. In the clash between the 'Sportings', the team from Brussels took the three points home. Anderlecht won 2-3 thanks to goals by Tika Musonda, Mehdi Tarfi and Brandon Deville.

Anderlecht started the match best and took the 0-1 lead via Tika Musonda after ten minutes of play. The Purple & White kept on putting pressure on the home team, but around half an hour’s worth of play, Lokeren slowly but surely pushed through. Donovan Deekman put in the equalizer and even provided Lokeren with a 1-2 lead just after half-time. The visitors reacted and took control of the match again. Thanks to goals by Mehdi Tarfi and Brandon Deville, the Purple & White turned the tide and returned to Brussels with a 2-3 victory.
