Anderlecht coach Ariël Jacobs has announced a selection of 20 players for the top game of the 22nd matchday against KAA Ghent. Just like last weekend, there are no selection troubles for coach Jacobs. Sporting’s coach is able to count on his entire squad – except for the players who are recovering from long-lasting injuries.

After the top matches against Club Brugge and Kortrijk the past few weeks, the Purple & White are facing a new top game against Ghent. "Ghent have been among the first on the league table for the last years", Jacobs said. "For those matches the players don’t need extra motivation. To know that you are ranked first and playing against one of the title rivals, is more than enough."

Both Ghent (1 out of 6) and Club Brugge (0 out of 6) have lost points ever since play resumed after the winter break. Sporting did take six points out of six and now have six points on first pursuer KAA Ghent. "You always have to wait how things are going to go after a (short) winter break. Things have not been going that well for our rivals, but I am not thinking about that. I am just happy that this is not happening to us (at the moment)", the Purple & White T1 said, "and I hope that it will stay that way." If they were to win, the Purple & White would take a giant step toward the JPL Play Offs. "We are not thinking about the PO yet", Jacobs emphasized. "We only want the three points, as always. Until we start the Play Offs all of the games are cup matches and we have to try and win them all."
