The Argentinian trained along with the rest of the group without any problems the last few days and is fit. Tom De Sutter was ill with flu for a few days, but will resume training on Saturday and is also part of the selection for Sunday’s game. Roland Juhasz will also be present, even though he did not train along with the group. The Hungarian international is struggling with neck problems and remains indoors out of precaution. He should be able to play on Sunday.

New players Patou Kabangu Mulota and Hugues Bedi Mbenza are not allowed to play to play the top match against Club Brugge yet. In the meantime, both players have chosen their numbers. Patou will play with the number 14 and Bedi with 6.

"A month and a half of top games to come"

Anderlecht are facing a big match against Club Brugge. "That’s how the calendar is", coach Ariël Jacobs said. "But that match will certainly not be decisive. There are still many matches to come and everyone knows that the play-offs can still change a lot. The match RSCA-FCB, however, is the opening match of a heavy load, as there are a month and a half of top games scheduled."

Club Brugge were playing well the last weeks before the winter break with their new coach. "The balance under Daum is positive", Anderlecht goalie Silvio Proto said. "They have already showed that they are able to keep a result, they take few goals and have a steady defence", the goalie said. "Whether this is a bad moment to meet Brugge? I don’t think there is a good or a bad moment. But we don’t have a say in it anyway, the calendar decides", Proto concluded. "The winning team on Sunday will in any case get a mental boost..."
