The Purple & White U-21 took on KV Kortrijk in Heule on Friday 2nd December 2011. Kortrijk are ranked at the bottom of the U-21 league table with 13 points after 12 matches. RSCA are ranked fourth with 20 points (after 11 matches). Sporting, however, returned to Brussels empty-handed, as a 1-0 victory for Kortrijk appeared on the board at the end of the game.

Lamisha Musonda was the only player of the first team who travelled along to West-Flanders. There were not many opportunities created in the match between Sporting and Kortrijk, and the home team took the lead just before half-time after a perfect counter: 1-0 final score.
