The Purple & White landed in the Greek Athens on Tuesday night 29th November 2011. On Thursday, the Europa League game against AEK will take place there. Olivier Deschacht, who was part of the selection of 20 players at first, did not travel along to Athens in the end, the left back is ill and stayed in Belgium.

Assistant coach Daniel Renders is absent because of illness as well.
