Fresh Superleague Formula champion Davide Rigon was present at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium last Sunday as part of the topmatch against Club Bruges. RSCA’s Italian pilot, who won the title in the SF for the Purple & White, was handed over the trophy by Anderlecht president Roger Vanden Stock just before kickoff. "It’s amazing to be able to attend a topmatch like that for my first time here", an extremely happy Rigon said on Sunday. "The atmosphere was incredible and the stadium was packed. It was clear how much this game meant to the fans."

President Roger Vanden Stock, too, was very pleased. "I would like to congratulate Davide for an amazing season and for winning the Superleague Formula championship", the president said on Sunday. "Seeing our Purple & White racing car at the top, in front of all those other top football teams, is brilliant! The past three seasons we finished first, fourth and sixth, which shows that we are the team to beat in the Superleague."
