RSCA’s U21 team have opened the new season 2010-2011 on their own field against Sporting Lokeren. With Pier Barrios, Bakary 'Bouba' Sare and Cristophe Diandy, three players from the Purple & White A-team played. Anderlecht eventually got stuck at a 1-1 draw.
The home team were the most dangerous during the first stages of the match, but Sébastien Siani was not able to convert a penalty and Lokeren even managed to take the lead after fifteen minutes and after their first opportunity. Anderlecht were able to score the equalizer after half an hour’s worth of play, through a nice kick by Cristophe Diandy. The home team had several chances to score after that, but Geert Emmerechts’ team failed to put the ball in, as a result of which the score remained 1-1.
