As a result of the Champions League play-offs draw, which took place in Nyon (Switserland) this afternoon, manager Herman Van Holsbeeck made the following statement: "It will be hard. RSCA have faced many difficulties in the past and, because of the club’s ambitions, it’s not always easy", RSCA’s manager declared.
"Partizan will be a hard nut to crack and RSCA respect the Serbian team’s tradition and history. Sporting, however, will do everything within their power to reach the group stage of the CL. I believe in the players’ group, they have proven that they can handle difficult opponents last season. It could be an advantage that Anderlecht will play away first. We will scout Partizan extensively during the next few weeks. Anyhow, we’re ready for two tight matches", he said.
