RSCA have just learnt that their opponent in the Champions League play-offs will be Partizan, but tomorrow, Saturday 7th August 2010, they will have to visit Charleroi in the Jupiler Pro League. Anderlecht coach Ariël Jacobs announced a selection of 21 players for the match. Kanu, as well as Cheikhou Kouyate and Matias Suarez are part of that selection, although they are all still doubtful.

"Kanu, Kouyate and Suarez are doing better", Jacobs said during the press conference. "They all trained along with the group again partly today. But we’ll have to wait and see how they will react tomorrow", he realized. Lucas Biglia is out, he is recovering from a painful fall on his shoulder during last Saturday’s match against Eupen.

RSCA’s coach does not think lightly of the match against Charleroi. "Eupen was also said to be a candidate to relegate, but they did manage to take a 0-1 lead", Jacobs emphasized. "Just like Eupen, Charleroi will want to take the necessary points to stay in first as soon as possible. I think last weekend was a real boost for them, as they were able to come back during an away match."
