Both players have had a 6-month testing period with the U21. After a positive evaluation by the sportive cell, both Fernando and Junior Kabananga signed a contract this morning.

The Brazilian Fernando Canesin Matos, who traces back to FC Olé Brasil, is an attacking midfielder with a good view of the game. He will commit to Purple-White for the next four seasons. The Congolese Junior Kabananga Kalonji, a strong centre who used to play for FC MK Etancheité, will be an RSCA player during the next 3 seasons.

“Fernando is a technical player who impresses with an excellent mentality. He, for instance, bothered to learn French during the past few months. Junior Kabananga is a strong, powerful centre who scores easily. Both have the capacities to make RSCA’s first team stronger in the future”, Herman Van Holsbeeck declared.
