The 19-year-old René Sterckx has signed a three-year contract at Sporting Anderlecht and will be lent to Zulte Waregem next season. The promising midfielder played the youth series at RSCA and was also a first-string player of the Purple-White U21 team. Like that, he was part of coach Johan Walem’s champions team, who took the title on the final match day on the field of Zulte Waregem last season. The midfielder scored the third goal during that game, for that matter (0-3 win). René Sterckx is also part of the national U19 team.
