National coach René Vandereycken selected four Anderlecht-players for the qualifying match against Armenia which takes place next week, Wednesday 6 September 2006 : Davy Schollen, Jelle Van Damme, Anthony Vanden Borre and Bart Goor. Roland Juhasz, Ahmed Hassan and Mbark Boussoufa also had to report oneself to their national team.

The Belgian internationals aren't the only players who have to go and play with their national team. The Egyptian international Ahmed Hassan has to play a qualifying match for the African Cup of Nations 2008. The match against Burundi will take place on Sunday 3 September 2006. Two days later he also has to play a friendly match against Lebanon.
Mbark Boussoufa also has to play during the preliminary rounds of the African Cup of Nations. He'll play with Morocco against Malawi on 3 September 2006.
Roland Juhasz has to play qualifying matches with Hungary for Euro 2008. Juhasz will play a first qualifying match against Norway on Saturday 2 September and four days later, on 6 September, a match in and against Bosnia Herzegovina is programmed.
All internationals are expected back in Brussels on Thursday 7 September 2006.
