Ivica Mornar was expected in Portsmouth on Thursday morning to have some medical tests taken and to sign a contract until 2006. The bad weather conditions on Wednesday evening kept Mornar a bit longer in Belgium.

On Thursday, Mornar waited on his flight to England in vain. Eventually, he preferred to travel to England by train. In the afternoon, Mornar arrived in Portsmouth.
