The Purple & White took the national title on Sunday 19 May 2013 after a 1-1 draw against Zulte Waregem. The visitors had opened the score at the start of the second half via Jens Naessens, who beat Silvio Proto with a header. With that score, Zulte Waregem were in fact champions of Belgium.
